Writing on the novel is going extremely well. About a quarter of the way through the first draft now. Having lots of fun expanding the story from a screenplay and giving it the scope and depth it deserves. Also really enjoying the freedom to explore things you just can’t do in a script (like describing smells and what characters are thinking). Should have this draft completed sometime in early 2013.
